Salcombe Town Council decided to present each child attending pre-school or primary school in Salcombe with a commemorative medal to note this special occasion and the smiling little faces said they were appreciated. Mike Fice as Salcombe Town Mayor together with Andrew Biggs as Deputy Mayor visited Salcombe Church of England Primary School at their assembly on Friday 10th June just ahead of the weekend celebrations to present each child attending the school, along with those attending Salcombe Pre School, with a commemorative medal celebrating the Queen’s 90th Birthday. Those children attending Beehives Pre School and Rafters at Salcombe Church were also visited by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor on the same day so that all children received their medals together to treasure and remember this historic achievement.
