Salcombe Town Council are pleased to be launching a brand new website www.salcombetowncouncil.gov.uk Offering a whole new fresh look with more information, together with a new planning applications portal that makes searching through the many planning applications a much improved experience. To access this go to ‘Local Planning’ under the ‘Your Town Council’ pull-down menu. The new site and hosting arrangements will also make significant annual savings over the cost of the old site.
The Town needs a new Parade Marshall, this is to lead the annual Remembrance Sunday Parade. We are most grateful to our recent marshall who has filled the role admirably in recent years.
The position is required for this years Parade. If anyone has the necessary experience and would be interested we would be delighted for you to contact the Town Clerk
We also wish to remind people that we are calling for this years nominations for the Salcombe Citizen Of The Year award. If there is someone who freely contributes their time and skills to the community please put their name forward, it is an opportunity to demonstrate the communities appreciation.
