We will return to Salcombe in November to complete the works on the flood alleviation scheme. Works will begin on Herbert Road on 2 November; we will need to close the road as we were unable to complete the works on our last visit due to parked cars. We anticipate the work taking around two weeks with three gulley connections and 50m of sewer to install.
Following completion of Herbert Road we will move onto the slipway at Clifton Place W/C 14 November to build the outfall. The works will be confined to the slipway, again we anticipate around two weeks duration; however the work will be subject to tides and weather conditions so I cannot give you a completion date as yet.
